Gardening with ACS
We are so so proud of our youth group, thank you all! Yesterday they showed great determination with helping Ainsdale Civic Society in their newest community gardening project.
From digging up those pesky weeds to finding all sorts of treasures, they really put the effort into it.
If you are passing Ainsdale train station and see the volunteers hard at work be sure to let them know how much you appreciate their efforts.

Mindful Journeys – Chocolate Whirled
What a *sweet* day! 
Our adults-only Chocolate Whirled trip today was an absolute blast! From rich, velvety tastings to learning the art of chocolate-making, it was a delicious experience from start to finish. 
Everyone indulged in their favourite treats, made some amazing new friends, and, of course, enjoyed a little break from the everyday hustle.

Couch to 5K
Ainsdale Stormers running group starts its latest Couch To 5K programme on Tuesday 18 June and there are spaces available.
Everyone taking part will be helping to support our charity.
The free 10-week programme will be led by qualified run leaders. Sessions will run on a Tuesday evening, meet at Ainsdale Village Green ready to start at 7pm. Week one is Tuesday 18 June.
Everyone is welcome.
The Couch To 5K programme is supported by Ainsdale-based company Training Risk Solutions Limited, owned by local resident Rob Hamill, a run leader with Ainsdale Stormers.
We would be the beneficiary Charity that has been chosen, the donation from this will fund various sports projects during June and July, including basketball, football, rounders and rugby, as well as a Summer sports day for young people and adults.
Ainsdale Stormers meet at MeCycle on Sunday mornings at 9am and run in Ainsdale Pinewoods. The group caters for all runners, including newcomers keen to start their running journey, alongside more experienced runners. Just turn up on the day.
Japanese ARTS & CRAFTS free course
Arts and Crafts FREE course for ages 18+, this is a unique course of weekly activities from Sashiko (Japanese Embroidery) to Ikebana (The Japanese Art of flower arrangement).
Zulay will teach you step by step, building your skills and improving your wellbeing.

BLEED CONTROL KIT
A huge thank you to Ainsdale Civic Society, providing the Woodvale area with a public access Bleed Control Kit.
The kit is located in our secure defibrillator cabinet outside our centre by the food cupboard. PR8 3RS.
The cabinet can be accessed 24/7, code will be provided by ambulance team in case of emergencies. The 999 team can talk through how to use the packs, and you can also watch a step by step on how to use the kits with the link – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRmt5E8b1lg
